THE SHREWD MANAGER (Luke 16:1-15)

The word Shrewd means having or showing sharp powers of judgment; astute. It refers to being clever, or in our local parlance we can say "sharp guy".  In the context of this parable, this manager was a "sharp guy" even though he was dishonest.  The lesson about this parable is not that Jesus wants us to be dishonest. This means, Believers who die physically are living and have nothing to do with Hades because Hades is for the dead and believers are not dead. They are alive! Colossians 3:1-4, Ephesians 2:6, Romans 6:4 all say, 'we are seated with Christ in heavenly places even now that we are alive physically. This is because we believe in him and we are one wit...
