This is Faith Been Expressed in Love



When you truly believe in Jesus and you're so sure that He is the only one to help you. You will do anything to get His attention (Mark 2:1-5)
The friends of the paralyzed man didn't let the multitude to stop them from getting Jesus' attention. They pressed the more. Since pressing could not help, they went up and made an opening at the roof.
Their desperate faith brought about their actions of faith.
Many of us today have stopped pressing further because of some hindrances we have faced - but this story should encourage you not to give up.
The faith of these men is really commendable. One will ask, why did they pressed so much though it was not their problem directly - in a sense - but we see here faith been expressed in love.
The pain of their beloved friend became their pain. His paralysis was their paralysis. Wow! See how much these men love - this is what we call "love in action."
Can we still find friends like such men, who will do anything for the betterment of their friend?
Jesus was not just compassionate for the paralyzed man but was moved by the faith of his friends. (Mark 2:5)

WHAT IS LOVE?

 I don't have issues with you loving a man as you would a woman just like David had for Jonathan and Jonathan for David. But my issue is what you do with that love. You must understand what love is all about and don't let the devil twist up things for you.  Jonathan loved David so much that he didn't sleep around with him but helped David fulfilled his purpose.  He loved David so much that he brought David to the same throne he would have inherited. This is what love is all about. It is not what the world is presenting to you.  Love is a commitment you make with someone without any expectation from that person and that was what David and Jonathan made for each other. THE SHREWD MANAGER (Luke 16:1-15)

  The word Shrewd means having or showing sharp powers of judgment; astute. It refers to being clever, or in our local parlance we can say "sharp guy".  In the context of this parable, this manager was a "sharp guy" even though he was dishonest.  The lesson about this parable is not that Jesus wants us to be dishonest. No! He doesn't want us to take advantage of people falsely. These are characters associated with people of the world just like the manager in this parable of Jesus. The main lesson I believe Jesus wants us to learn is the fact that the manager was foresighted.  He thought about his future immediately he got to know he would be kicked out of his position.
